LIUDMYLA POLYVANA
FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Liudmyla fled the war in Ukraine and started a new life in Canada in 2022. In 2023, together with a team of professionals from this city, support from volunteers, and help from kind Canadians, she founded NEISS, winning a grant with the belief that it is possible to change the future of each immigrant by providing them with help and support.
Now, with the support of sponsors, the responsiveness of Canadian people, and her great efforts, the society is experiencing exponential growth. Liudmyla fosters cooperation with all local communities to help new immigrants in FSJ overcome the obstacles that stand in their way to a new, completely unknown, and happy life.
Through her efforts, she makes a significant contribution to the successful integration of immigrants, as well as to the life of the wider community.

Yevhen Soroka fled the war in Ukraine in 2023 and joined NE Immigrant Services Society in 2025 as a Settlement Worker.
With a deep commitment to supporting newcomers, he plays a vital role in guiding immigrants through the challenges of resettlement and fostering community engagement.
Under the guidance of the society, he contributes to developing tailored support systems, educational programs, and community initiatives that empower immigrants to adapt and thrive in Canada.
His proactive and empathetic approach ensures that every newcomer feels supported and welcomed as they build a new life in Canadian society.
